I recently received a solicitation from The American Civil War Museum in Richmond. As part of the packet, there were three bookmarks included. A nice gesture. Thank you. One bookmark featured Union General Maj. Gen. George H. Thomas. This one was titled "Union." Another featured Powhatan Beaty, a slave who won a Medal of Honor fighting for the Union. This one was titled "Freedom."
Then there was this one featuring Stonewall Jackson titled "Confederacy." The ACW Museum seems to be attempting to appeal to all constituent factions, which is wise. I'm not sure how successful they'll be but I wish them the best.I will be using all three bookmarks.
