EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. (FOX 10) -- Police in Eau Claire, Wisconsin detailed a bizarre incident at the city's Walmart that resulted in the arrest of a 46-year-old woman and her 25-year-old son.

According to a post made by Eau Claire Police Department officials on the department's verified Facebook page Thursday, the incident happened on Wednesday night at the
city's only Walmart. Officers were called to the retail store for a theft in progress, and officers eventually figured out a bizarre chain of incidents that involved the woman, her son, and her dog.

Police officials say the woman, identified as 46-year-old Lisa Smith, came into the store with an unleashed dog named "Bo". While Bo ran up to customers, Smith started to act in an erratic manner, pulling apart store displays and putting them in her cart.
Smith was asked to leave by store staff members, but after the left the store, she started to perform karate moves in the parking lot.

Officials say when Smith was arrested, she fought with officers and also tried to kick out a window on a squad car.

As the incident with Smith was happening, police officials say Smith's son, identified as 25-year-old Benny Vann, made his way to the back of the store and stripped off his clothes, exposing himself to customers. Vann then took new clothing from the racks
and didn't pay for it. When officers approached Vann, he refused to stop and tried to run over an officer with his scooter. Officers then stopped Vann's scooter physically and arrested him.

In the midst of all that, police say the dog, Bo, took a box of cornbread muffin mix and tried to leave the store.

Smith, according to police, is accused of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and misdemeanor bail jumping, Vann, meanwhile, is accused of lewd and lascivious behavior, disorderly conduct, and retail theft. As for Bo, he was caught by officers and taken
to the local Humane Association.

In what is perhaps a tongue-in-cheek claim, police say they issued Bo a warning for the theft of the cornbread mix.
